NASTY WORLDWIDE : Simplified Product Verification & Community Engagement UI/UX Revamp.
The Client
NASTY Worldwide sells straightforward, high-quality vaping products under the Electronic Nicotine Delivery System (ENDS) category, like vapes and e-cigarettes. They emphasize authentic "True NASTY flavours" across their range and are committed to helping smokers quit with easy-to-use products. They are also keen on fighting counterfeits to ensure customers get the genuine, satisfying experience they promise.

For this project, my goal was to make a mobile site where customers can easily check if the products they purchased from retailers/distributors are genuine, give it a fresh, attractive look, and get users more involved with the brand.
Scope :
1. Redesigned the UI/UX for a smoother and more modern feel.
2. Streamlined the process to check product authenticity with a simple scan and PIN entry.
3. Added a new feature to join the brand's community club.
Objectives :
The new design makes the site not just look better but also work better on mobiles.
With clearer steps and a cleaner interface, users can go from scanning to verifying without any hassle.
By including a quick sign-up for the community club, we're turning a one-time check into an ongoing relationship.
Results Page (if Authentic)
I tested two versions of a product verification page to see which one users liked more.
Option A (left) : cleaner, with just a product picture and specs
Option B (right) : detailed vape flavor scores, aiming to give users lots of info.

The client chose Option A after testing showed users preferred its simplicity for a quick, clear verification experience. Additionally, the box already had flavor scores.
This helped us create a user-friendly page that keeps things straightforward.
Outcome :
The end result? A mobile site that not only looks good but also brings customers closer to the brand, building a community with every scan.
This is just the start!
Next up, we're planning to give customers points on every product scan. They will even get points for leaving a review after purchasing via NASTY ecommerce website. Customers can swap these points for cool vouchers.
Plus, depending on the region, they will also get a shot at winning surprise gifts with a fun spinning wheel game. We're doing all this to make things more exciting for the customers.
